Where possible horses are treated in their own stables to ensure that they are as relaxed as possible.

Insurance
Most insurance companies are happy for an animal insured with them to receive osteopathic treatment from a registered osteopath holding valid insurance. This is on the condition that the veterinary surgeon recommends the treatment and refers the case.

About Nigel Hole
Nigel Hole qualified as an osteopath in 1987 from the British School of Osteopathy, London, and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, the statutory register. He studied equine osteopathy at the OCA in Wantage, Oxfordshire, and completed an equine chiropractic course with Dr. Andrew Glaister in applied equine biomechanics. He holds full animal liability insurance. He is currently treating racehorses, hunters, eventers and polo ponies. He is a keen rider and hunts with the Essex Hunt (EH) and enjoys visits to the Devon and Somerset Stag Hunt (DSSH) and hunting in South Wales.
